Summer Music Lessons


Update on Summer 2024 (as of 6/2):
Registration will end Friday, June 7 at noon.

If you have submitted your form, you are 'penciled in' to the schedule. You will be notified of your lesson time later this week. 

Due to demand we'll do the following as group classes:
Instrument Explorer group class at 9:30 AM for age 6. Cost will be $30.
Beginning Theory group class at 11 AM for ages 8+. Cost will be $30.

Last minute additions to our teaching staff:
We've added Mason Mays as a teacher this summer. He will teach percussion and drum set.
Sarah Williams is back to teach trumpet and other brass.

Remaining openings are limited for violin. 

FREE Drop-in lessons on Saturday, August 3rd from 9 am to 12 pm.
Bring your instrument or try any of ours.

The 2024 summer session will consist of six 30 minute private lessons per the calendar at the bottom of the  the home page. All in-person lessons take place on Saturdays between 9 am and 12 pm at St. Paul United  Methodist Church.  Online lessons will take place as scheduled by you and your teacher.

The registration fee is $60.  First teaching day is June 8.

All ages are as of June 1.

For age 6  Instrument Explorer (beginning music reading and rhythm with an intro to  the instrument families)


For age 7  Violin, Recorder

Ages 8 to 18;
In person:  Guitar, Violin, Beginning Cello, Clarinet, Flute, Trumpet, Trombone, French horn, Baritone, Tuba, Music Theory, Beginning Piano, Beginning Oboe, Percussion, Drum Set, Saxophone
Online: Violin, Viola
Online for returning students only: Cello

Instruments loaned depending on availability with a $25 deposit.
(We do not have  oboes ,  baritones, saxophones, or drum sets available. Keyboards are limited.)

Multi-instrumentalists: Please register for your top priority instrument. Indicate a second instrument in the comment box and we will let you  know if we have an opening.

We do not offer make-up lessons if your student cannot attend. If we  have to cancel (due to weather, construction or similar issues) we will do our best to reschedule.

Please put any concerns or special considerations in the comments box on the registration form.

Please pay the minimum fee ($60) when submitting the form. Those who do not pay at this time will be placed on a waiting list for their instrument. (Unfortunately we do not have scholarship funding available for this summer.)

If we cannot schedule your student, we will immediately refund any payment.  Schedules will be emailed  by  5 pm on June 6.
