The COG-ME nonprofit in Huntsville donated several smaller violins to Scrollworks when they closed their music program last year.  As a result of their generosity, we have a lot of small violins available to loan. We are offering a 25% discount on the registration fee for younger new beginners (ages 6 to 12) on violin to honor COG-ME's decades of teaching music.

This spring Scrollworks is offering private lessons, group instruction and ensembles for orchestral instruments (winds, strings and percussion), voice, piano, guitar, drum set and ukulele to children ages 6 to 18, including students with disabilities.

All classes, lessons and ensembles will be in-person at St. Paul UMC on either Monday evenings (between 4 pm and 8 pm) or on Saturdays (between 9 am and 3 pm). Returning students who have been taking online lessons for violin and cello may continue.

Our spring program consists of 12 classes/lessons, a mid-semester jury day, and a final performance weekend consisting of an all-day recital camp followed by a formal Solo Recital on Saturday and a formal Concert for the group classes and ensembles on Sunday.

The semester calendar is on the home page

Please do not register if you know your child will miss more than 2 lesson days.

Participation in the solo recital and/or the ensemble concert is required. Please put this on your calendar and plan to attend. (Out-of-town online students may submit a video.)
