Welcome to Scrollworks! We’re excited to invite new families to join us for our Spring 2026 semester, our first at Brewster Road Community Church.
Scrollworks is a community music program offering group-based instruction, ensembles, and creative music-making for students of all ages. No prior experience is required for beginners, and instruments will be provided when available.
We are proud to be an approved tutor for Alabama CHOOSE, making Scrollworks accessible to more families.

Class Day & Time:
All classes meet on Saturdays between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
The semester consists of 12 lesson days with a recital / concert in the afternoon of the 12th lesson day.
Most classes meet one hour per week.
Intermediate and advanced string and wind students attend two hours weekly (group lesson + ensemble).
January 1 – Online registration opens - link to registration form will be available on this page.
January 3 – Free Drop-In Lessons & Instrument Petting Zoo
January 10 – String instrument sizing
January 15 – Registration closes & payment due
January 17 – First day of classes

Tuition includes an instrument (if available) and a method book.
Beginner Strings & Winds: $250
Guitar: $200
Piano: $300
Winds & Strings (Intermediate & Advanced)
Includes group lesson + ensemble: $300
Music Theory: $25
Recorder Ensemble: $25
Students may register for more than one instrument or class, as scheduling allows.

Payment is due by January 15.
We are currently finalizing integration with Alabama CHOOSE. If payment is not available directly through the registration form, families will receive a simple invoice with a payment link.
