Summer 2021

Registration for Summer 2021 has ended.
Classes are under way!

All of our staff are fully vaccinated. However, many of our students are not yet eligible. Please plan on wearing a mask and practicing social distancing while participating in Scrollworks this summer.

If you are unfamiliar with our music program, the information about our summer program below will give you some idea of what we will be offering in the fall. The registration fee for fall (12 lessons) will be $80 per instrument.

This summer Scrollworks is offering group instruction and ensembles for orchestral instruments (winds, strings and percussion), piano, voice and guitar to children ages 6 to 18, including students with disabilities.

Most classes and all ensembles will be in-person at St. Paul UMC on either Monday evenings (between 4 pm and 8 pm) or on Saturdays (between 9 am and 2 pm). Online classes and lessons will also be available when that platform works best for you and your teacher.

Piano and voice lessons will be offered with limited availability.

Our summer program consists of 6 classes/lessons that will culminate with a casual in-person performance on Saturday morning, July 31. Check the bottom of our home page for our teaching calendar.

For in-person instruction, we will send you a schedule based on your choices. For online classes and lessons, your teacher will contact you to arrange scheduling.

Group classes and orchestra are 60 minutes.
Private lessons are 30 minutes.

Registration fee: $60 per instrument. There is no charge for choir, orchestra or music theory. (Payment is required upon submitting the registration form.)

We loan instruments (if available) for a $25 refundable deposit.
Scrollworks encourages our students to use this loaned instrument in their school band or orchestra as long as they continue to fully participate in classes and ensembles at Scrollworks.
