Art by Kunkle's Alabama Roots mixed media painting featuring the state of Alabama makes use of a background made from the paper of a 1903 edition of Webster's Dictionary. We are so happy to have Looksy come from Tuscaloosa to perform at Forte Music Festival! Since their formation in late 2011, the bluesy rock outfit Looksy has made themselves a staple in the Tuscaloosa, AL music scene. Their new album, "The Guest House" finally released on January 2, 2016, featuring 12 original songs which showcase the bands unique rock and roll sound. Looksy is a band who always aim to keep things loud and vibrant, with melodies and rhythms that are may take you by surprise.

We are so excited to have Raquel Lily at the Forte Music Festival! Originally hailing from the Philippines, Lily grew up in a musical family and began performing from a young age. Her passion for writing and telling stories is evident in her work. Music is just another way she connects with people and helps bring them together, despite their differences. Her music can be described as indie-pop/rock with some jazz influences. Her clear, powerful voice perfectly complements her unique style and sound. Listening to tracks such as “Killer” and “Without You” will have you singing and tapping your toes for the rest of the day.
